Toni Cornell is fighting to help people with anxiety and depression issues, complicated by substance abuse, to keep them alive and get them well. Because, she says, her dad, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, suffered from all those issues most of his life, as did his parents, who battled alcohol issues...Toni says people view these things as a "moral flaw," instead of a mental health disorder, and it leads to suffering and disaster. Toni has just launched a new website called StopStigma.org to change long held feelings by many folks that substance abuse means the addict is simply weak... pretty cool stuff right here.
