When Allegheny County goes green Friday, Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium opens back up! Hours will be 9:30 am til 6 pm daily, with the gates closing at 4:30 pm....the biggest change for now is a timed ticketing system which is explained at pittburghzoo.org . Tickets will be sold first come, first served, and will be limited. For now, you have to do social distancing and bring your own handsanitizer if you can. The Zoo also has hand sanitizer throughout the areas...Staff will all wear masks to protect people and the animals, and they encourage you to do the same.
