You may remember back when DeAngelo Williams was a Steelers running back in 2015 and 2016, he would occasionally mention that he lost his mom to breast cancer when she was 53, and he lost 4 aunts to the disease, each before she reached 50 years old. DeAngelo, in his mom's memory, runs, with his wife, the "53 Strong" Foundation, which funds mammograms, and if needed, followup care, for women who can't afford them...so far,he's funded more than 500 mammograms to women in Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Memphis, and his hometown of Jonesboro, Arkansas...here's more.
