A candlelight vigil will be held Thursday night (Jan. 5th) in Brackenridge Park, across from the Brackenridge American Legion. Brackenridge Mayor Lindsay Fraser invites all to join.

If you would like to support the family of the fallen chief, you can purchase a remembrance t-shirt at the Tarentum Borough Building. Details HERE.

Or, make an online donation via their fundthefirst.com campaign - Line of Duty Death - Support Chief McIntire’s Family. Proceeds from both fundraisers go to the McIntire family.

He was an incredible husband, father and friend to many. He was also an exemplary police officer and chief- so many admired and looked up the example he set of how to be a light in the community. We want to come together for her & the kids to help take any amount of stress off that we can. Justin gave his life protecting the community, now it’s our turn to give back to his family. 💙
