Steelers Announce Omar Khan As New General Manager

The Steelers have announced that Omar Khan will be their new General Manager.

In making the news official on Wednesday afternoon, Steelers President Art Rooney II told, "Omar has been an integral part of our Football Operations Department during his 21 years with the team, and that experience will serve him well in his new position."

Khan's most recent role with the team was vice president of football and business administration, in which he worked closely with Rooney, Kevin Colbert (who he is replacing), and Coach Mike Tomlin on the day-to-day overall management of the Football Operations Department.

Khan signed a four-year deal with the team for the new position.
