REPORT: Steelers Sign Melvin Ingram To One-Year Deal

Melvin Ingram has reportedly signed with the Steelers.

The free agent edge rusher, who has spent most of his nine year NFL career with the Chargers, met with the team on Monday, and apparently it went well.

According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, it's a one-year deal, and Ingram also had offers from the Chiefs and Dolphins.

Josina Anderson, host of the 'Undefined with Josina Anderson' digital show and podcast talked to Ingram on the phone and tweeted that he said, "I just did the deal not too long ago and just got to the airport. It’s definitely a dope organization and environment; so I definitely feel like it's the place for me."

"I met with coach (Mike) Tomlin. You can tell he's very involved & a players' coach. That's what stood out to me. He wants to win and that is what I am on. My role is my role. He just told me to come in and be me. Everyone knows how I play."

Nothing official from the team yet, but I'm sure that will be coming soon.
