Aditi Kinkhabwala from the NFL Network is reporting that Ben Roethlisberger's agent says the Steelers want him back for the upcoming season.
In a tweet on Tuesday evening, she said that she connected with his agent, Ryan Tollner, who said, "They want him back and will contact me soon to address the cap situation."
Toller also added, "As we shared when the season ended, we are happy to creatively adjust his contract to help them build the best team possible." You can read the full statement below or on Twitter.
Gerry Dulac from the Steelers Radio Network and Post Gazette also had an update on Ben Tuesday afternoon.
He tweeted that Roethlisberger met with Art Rooney II and, according to sources, it "went well."
He also added that Ryan Toller told him that Art Rooney II told Ben they want him back in 2021.
