The Jets have traded LB Avery Williamson to the Steelers.
According to a tweet by Adam Schefter, a source says the trade terms are as follows: ,Jets get the Steelers' 5th-round draft pick in 2022; Steelers get Williamson and the Jets’ 2022 7th-round pick. The Steelers confirmed the news on Monday morning, and said the trade will become official after Williamson passes a physical.
After the news broke on Sunday, he shared a photo on Twitter, and Monday morning he posted a video on the way to the airport. To say he is excited about the trade would be an understatement! Photo and video are both posted below.
