Pittsburgh International Airport Gets Low Ranking in New Study

Pittsburgh International Airport ranks 35th in a new study on the best airports in the United States. The study was done by a travel news website called The Points Guy, and it took into account a bunch of different things to get the rankings.

The Top 5 overall airports at San Diego, Phoenix, Portland, ATL, and Sacramento. MDW came in last. Fort Lauderdale and Orlando were also in the bottom three.

I was honestly surprised when I saw this, because I have traveled a lot, and PIT has always been one of my favorite airports, but what really blew my mind was the Newark and O'Hare ranked better! In my opinion, ORD should've been ranked last (I can't even begin to count how many times I've been on delayed or canceled flights through there).

Of course a new modernized terminal at PIT is supposed to open in 2023. Check out the design concepts below, and visit pittransformed.com for more info on that.
