What are the chances of BOTH Keith Emerson AND Greg Lake of Emerson Lake & Palmer dying in the same year...so sad. Tragic. Keith Emerson committed suicide in March 2016 because he was losing the ability to play keyboards as expertly as he always played, and he couldn't handle that. Greg Lake died of cancer later that same year 2016. 2 Rock Icons from the same 3 man supergroup, gone the same year. Keith Emerson would have had a birthday today.
