Sammy Hagar recently found out some interesting stuff about his last name on the PBS show "Finding Your Roots."
Apparently, he's not a Hagar!
Yep...the show's host, Henry Louis Gates Junior, told Sammy that his DNA does not match any men with the last name Hagar -- which means genetically, it's not his last name.
His DNA did however match 27 men with the last name "Belcher."
Hagar couldn't believe it. He said, "What a trip!"
