Rolling Stone has released a new list that ranks the 200 greatest singers of all time, from all genres of music.

On the rock side of things, Little Richard and John Lennon ranked the highest at 11 and 12 respectively.

Freddie Mercury landed at 14 (which blows my mind - he should've been Top 5), Bob Dylan grabbed the 15 spot, and Elvis ranked 17th.

In a post on Twitter, Rolling Stone wrote, ""Before you start scrolling (and commenting), keep in mind that this is the Greatest Singers list, not the Greatest Voices List. Talent is impressive; genius is transcendent."

A lot of other familiar voices from the world of rock did make the cut, but I think a handful of them should've made the Top 20.

BUT...that's why lists like this exist...for everyone to debate about it!

It's actually a great read if you have some time.

To find out who landed the number one spot, check out the complete list over at RollingStone.com.
