Kalabrya Haskins has released a statement about the death of her husband, Dwayne, along with details about a celebration of his life that will be held in Pittsburgh next week.
She wrote, "I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for every loving soul who has supported our family during this arduous time of loss. The overwhelming thoughts and prayers have been fuel for our emotional depletion."
"My husband was more than a great football player. He had the smile of a rainbow that touched the diversity of so many. He will forever rest and remain in our hearts til the end of time."
She also included details about a celebration of his life that will be held in Pittsburgh on Friday, April 22nd at Allegheny Center Alliance Church in Pittsburgh.
Friends, teammates, coaches and those who want to pay their respects will be welcome during a visitation between 10am and 11am. That will be followed by a service from 11am-1pm.
