Pennsylvania Liquor Stores To Start Putting Purchase Limits On Some Booze

According to Channel 11 WPXI, Pennsylvania’s state-run liquor system will begin rationing sales of some specific products this week.

The rationing is in response to what is being describes as "sustained supply chain disruptions and product shortages."

The list of booze this will impact, (which apparently has not been released to the public - at least not that I can find anywhere), contains specific types of champagne, bourbon, tequila, cognac and whiskey.

Channel 11 is reporting that state stores, as well as bars, restaurants and other license holders were informed about the decision on Thursday.

There will be a two bottle per day limit placed on those specific products starting Friday, September 17th, and the rationing will stay in effect indefinitely.
