A guy in Alabama was recently arrested after he called the Dekalb County Sheriff's Office to report that his marijuana had been stolen.

According to the Sheriff's website, The Mentone Police Department, along with agents of the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office Narcotics & Interdiction Team responded to the call. When they showed up to investigate, the man reporting the stolen weed was also in possession of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.

Dante Michael Bellamoli was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In a press release, Sheriff Nick Welden said, "It probably wasn't the best decision for this individual to choose to report stolen marijuana, but we were happy to investigate it for him."
