Linda McCartney Dies 1998, An Amazing Photographer

People remember Linda McCartney for being Paul's wife, of course, but how many know that Linda (Eastman) was an amazing rock photographer! She was the unofficial backstage photographer at The Fillmore East in NYC. Her book "Linda McCartney, Portrait Of An Era," has fascinating images of Hendrix, The Who, Janis Joplin, The Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles of course, and so many more from the 1960's. Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995, she would die from breast cancer 3 years later, today April 17th in 1998. She captured so many images of Rock legends just being ordinary people.
