Walter Becker/Steely Dan Died Of Esophageal Cancer

Walter Becker, 1/2 of Steely Dan, died Sept. 3rd of esophageal cancer, just 4 months after being diagnosed. The details of his death had been kept secret till now. Walter's widow Delia told Rolling Stone the cancer spread with "terrifying speed." He was cremated without ceremony or memorial, as per his wishes, in NYC. Walter Becker Death
