In October of 1977, Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane crashed into a Mississippi swamp, killing 3 band members and 3 others as well (20 survived the crash)...one of the survivors, former drummer Artimus Pyle, is currently putting together a film about the crash: "Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash"...the current band members of Skynyrd have filed a lawsuit trying to prevent this movie from being completed...Lynyrd Skynyrd Movie
