John Schmotzer is the President of Metropolitan Window Company.  Founded in March of 1978, John at the age of 22 started his endeavor after graduating from Duquesne University. 

Maggie, John’s wife joined the company in 1990 and their youngest son, Justin join in 2011.  Metropolitan has been serving the window and door needs of homeowners in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas with the distinction of professionalism and integrity.   Metropolitan has partnered with Marvin Windows and is proud to be the exclusive company in Pittsburgh to offer the Infinity from Marvin fiberglass window.  They have also partnered with ProVia, for their entry doors, and as achieved the Platinum status. 

Metropolitan is a member of the Better Business Bureau with a A+ rating and holds an A rating (the most you can obtain) with Angie’s List.  Metropolitan also is proud of obtaining a 4.9 out of 5 with Guild Quality who surveys each and every customer Metropolitan does work for.
