DeAngelo Williams remains a free agent. Until he lands on a new NFL roster, he's in the "sports entertainment" game.
The former Steelers running back made his wrestling debut at Impact Wrestling’s 'Slammiversary' PPV event on Sunday night. He managed to pull out a victory in his first match, but it could have ended badly.
Williams attempted to land a “frog splash” onto his opponent, who was laid out across a folding table. He overshot the mark and face-planted into the canvas. Luckily he escaped without suffering an injury and was able to laugh at the mishap afterwards on social media:
