Huge Rock Hits never Released as Singles

Sometimes hit records make themselves, with no promotional push or help from a band's record company promoting songs to be released as singles from any given album. here are just a few of many: Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," from their 1975 self titled album, hands down one of the band's most popular tunes, and one they play almost every time they've hit the stage. There's the Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun," from the "Abbey Road" album. There was one George Harrison song released as a single but it wasn't "Here Comes the Sun" --that tune has become the most played Beatles song on Spotify. Speaking of Beatles, Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed" was a huge hit without being released as a single--McCartney released his first solo album three weeks before the Beatles last album, "Let It Be" came out, and McCartney had made the decision not to release any singles from his album ahead of the Beatles release. Another band that didn't want to release any singles from their album, opting for the songs to speak for themselves as album cuts: Pearl Jam, with the huge tune "Black" from their "Ten" album. Here's a ton more tunes that became hits, without the single designation, including songs from Zep, the Stones, the Eagles, the Dead, CCR and more: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/classic-rock-songs-not-singles/
