Twisted Sister had plans for a massive 50th anniversary tour that was to begin in Brazil this April, and the band has just cancelled all the plans, saying singer Dee Snider has been dealing with some serious health problems: degenerative arthritis that's required multiple surgeries, and also unspecified heart issues. In a statement from Dee's management, they say he's only "able to perform a few songs at a time in pain." Snider himself, in the statement, adds "the idea of slowing down is unacceptable to me." And "I'd rather walk away than be a shadow of my former self." Here's the entire statement, and more from Dee Snider: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/twisted-sister-cancel-2026-tour/
