Cool Rock and Roll Concerts on Halloween

It's true every show is Halloween for bands like Alice Cooper and Kiss, and they've had some memorable Halloween concerts, and so have a bunch of other bands. Alice's 1986 show at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit was filmed for the movie "The Nightmare returns." Kiss's Halloween show at Dodger Stadium in 1998 was broadcast live on TV, and their opening band, the Smashing Pumpkins, dressed up as the Beatles. Van Halen dressed up fo their their 1980 concert in Macon Georgia. Nirvana famously went all out with costumes for their show in Akron in 1993--Kurt Cobain dressed as Barney, Dave Grohl was a mummy, Krist Novoselic was a "reverse Ted Danson," and Pat Smear dressed as Slash. The Stones had a very memorable Halloween show outdoors in Dallas in 1981, but it was for getting deluged by hard rain, and going on with the whole show anyway in the downpour.
