Rush fans rejoice as Singer/bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson announce they're reuniting to tour for the first time in 11 years, after the death of iconic drummer Neil Peart. The two surviving members of Rush originally said they wouldn't ever tour again as Rush without Peart, but as Geddy says in a long, heartfelt post on social media, "Alex and I have done some serious soul searching, and come to the conclusion that we fucking miss it." So they'll kick off the 7 city, 11 show "Fifty Something" Tour June 7th in Los Angeles, and finish up September 17th in Cleveland. The band will also be using former Jeff Back Group drummer Anika Nilles in Neil Peart's place. Lee initially saw her perform in 2023, and was super impressed with her. He also explains the band will probably add a few more musicians to the band for the tour, including a keyboardist. Fans can sign up for a ticket pre-sale between now at 11:5pm this Thursday.
