Co-founder of the band Supertramp and only band member to be actively with the band for its entire existence, Rick Davies, has passed away from Multiple Myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells) at the age of 81. He and partner Roger Hodgson formed the band in 1970, and keyboardist Davies wrote and sang lead vocals on songs like "Goodbye Stranger" and "Bloody Well Right." He'd been battling the illness for the past 10 years, and succumbed to it this past Saturday.
