The tour we anxiously await with Pearl Jam coming to PPG Paints Arena May 16th and 18th kicked off last night in Hollywood, Florida...the Pearl Jam "Dark Matter" tour plays a select group of cities, with multiple shows at each stop. The night started with the song "Oceans" from the album "Ten", and mixed their big hits with songs from the new album, "Dark Matter." There were covers of songs from the Byrds and the Who, plus a special tribute to Tom Petty in his home state by a solo Eddie Vedder, who said he was pulling out a special guitar he rarely travels with because it was given to him by Petty, then he sang the Petty song "I Won't Back Down."
