The Case for Hair Metal to Be in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame

Some would say hell will freeze over before 80's Hair Metal bands will be inducted in to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame--critics hate'em, making fun of their spandex and sometimes cheesy songs with simple goofy lyrics. Fans love'em, and say a lot of that is B.S. from the critics. It's true, there is a lot of true musical talent and prowess in a lot of these bands, and the songs weren't all trash, some truly powerful, and yes, influential, which is what the Rock Hall is supposed to honor, right?
