It was a glorious day at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas yesterday for the Steelers, not only because of the 32-13 win over the Raiders, but because Steeler fans took over the stadium, by many accounts, outnumbering Raiders fans. Even Sports columnist Ed Grainey of the Las Vegas Review-Journal titled his column today "Quarterback Change Means Nothing in a Sea of Yellow." Instead of writing "Las Vegas" in the opening spot of the column where the byline goes, Grainey wrote "Pittsburgh West." Along with recounting the many woes the Raiders are dealing with at the moment, including ineffective quarterbacking and injuries, he talks about how crazy it is that Steeler Nation travels as well as it does, mentioning there was a "You're in Steelers Country" banner in the stands, that at one point in the game when the Raiders needed their defense to come up big, head coach Antonio Pierce was waving his arms for the (supposed) Raider crowd to make a lot of noise--the mostly Steeler crown remained quiet. And Grainey also mentions how at the end of the game, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin tipped his hat to the fans, acknowledging their loyalty....here's Ed Grainey's entire column about a great day to be Pittsburgh Steelers fan in Vegas: https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/sports-columns/ed-graney/graney-quarterback-switch-means-nothing-in-sea-of-yellow-3188917/?utm_campaign=widget&utm_medium=topnews&utm_source=homepage&utm_term=Graney%3A%20Quarterback%20switch%20means%20nothing%20in%20sea%20of%20yellow
