We've talked about it for months--Green Day with Smashing Pumpkins coming to PNC Park on September first....the North American tour that'll bring them here kicked off last night in Washington D.C....Green Day's set was 37 songs, including both albums "Dookie" from 1994 and "American Idiot" from 2204 in their entirety....also a couple tunes from the new "Saviors" album, and other hits thrown in...the Green Day set ended with Billie Joe Armstrong doing an unplugged "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)"...Smashing Pumpkins hit the stage right before Green Day, and they had an 11 song set....for more about the kick off show for the Green Day tour that we get on September 1st, plus set lists and videos, go here: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/green-day-2024-tour-set-list-videos/
