Always fun to read what the opposing team's press is writing about when your team just dominated them, or in this case, a Pirate rookie pitcher dominated them. Here's Wynton Jackson of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel talking about how when rookie pitcher Paul Skenes came to the park for his start against the first place Brewers, he first sought out Milwaukee baseball legend Bob Eucker, had a good time with that, then proceeded to have his way with the big Brewer bats, throwing a no hitter with 11 strikeouts through 7 innings, until he was pulled from the game. Check out Jackson's comments, plus those of Brewers first baseman Jake Bauers, here: https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/2024/07/11/pittsburgh-pirates-pitcher-paul-skenes-describes-talk-with-bob-uecker/74373059007/
