Doesn't matter who you talk to, or what media you listen to or watch--everybody's starting to voice their concerns about Artificial Intelligence and its ability to take over all things human, including music making....Sting, in a recent interview with the BBC, was right there with his worries: "I don't think we can allow the machines to just take over. We have to be wary." There have been people actually playing with existing recordings, like from the Beatles, and reimagining classic songs thru AI...and concerns abound about how copyright law can even be figured out or enforced with Artificial Intelligence composing or performing songs...this from Sting: " The building blocks of music belong to us." and "That's going to be the battle we all have to fight in the next couple of years: defending our human capital against AI."
