Freddie Mercury's Closest Possessions to Be Auctioned Off by Mary Austin

If you saw the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody," you know how very close Freddie Mercury was to his one-time girlfriend, then fiancee Mary Austin, so close that even after they broke up, and Freddie came out as gay, ultimately dying of AIDS in 1991, he left his home and his personal possessions to her. Now, at age, 71, she has decided it's time to part with everything, and 6 auctions of Freddie's belongings, including his stage clothes, crown, paintings, and handwritten music and lyrics, will happen in August and September of this year.
