You may or may not know that bassist Geezer Butler's the guy who came up with the name Black Sabbath, or that he's the primary lyricist for Black Sabbath, or that he didn't even play bass guitar until Sabbath's first gig together, because Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi didn't want to share guitar parts with him or any other musician, so he switched to bass....On June 6th, we all get to hear right from Butler about his life from his days as an Irish Catholic kid growing up in a large, poor, Birmingham, England family, to his disillusionment with organized religion and fascination with horror and the occult, to all his days in and out of Black Sabbath, when his new memoir, "Into the Void: From Birth to Black Sabbath" comes out.
