These guys have been on the road together a couple times before, but it seems more poignant now that one band is talking end of the line....ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced the "Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour" for 2023, which starts July 21st in West Palm Beach, Florida, ends September 17th in Camden, New Jersey, and hits the Pavilion at Star Lake Sunday, September 3rd...ZZ Top is currently winding down their "Raw Whiskey Tour," and this upcoming tour gives Skynyrd a renewed chance to hit the road at least one more time, after their original farewell tour was derailed by the coronavirus pandemic...Singer Johnny Van Zant said in a recent interview, " We're looking at hanging it up in the next year or so....we're going to retire from touring."
