Keyboardist Jonathan Cain was talking about Journey's big show headlining the 2022 Concert for Legends" this Saturday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, and the one thing that really stuck out in the interview was him talking about how this show may get the attention of producers for the Super Bowl Halftime show, and how maybe Journey will get asked to play halftime for the big game...."I'm secretly hoping they see us and go: wait a minute--Journey's never played a Superbowl!" Rock bands were almost constant choices for Super Bowl halftime entertainment in the early 2000's, but since Jay-Z's production company has been creating the Super Bowl halftime shows in recent years, the acts have been more pop and hip hop, so better enjoy Journey this Saturday if you get the chance...tickets are on sale at HOFVillage.com ...here's more from Jonathan Cain about the show, and how things are going with the band as they wind up their current tour.
