The better the condition, the more cash, and if you have collector's instincts and still have you toy unopened in the box, you have the best chance of cashing in....the website pastfactory.com lists a ton of old toys worth waaay more now than when new: in 1967 bat :Lite-Brite, which features illuminated pegs you plug in to a board to make pictures, sold for ten bucks. it's now worth $300. Cabbage Patch Dolls, which were 40 bucks in 1984, go in mint condition for $1,000. a Darth Vader telescopic light saber action figure which sold for $2.49 in 1978 has now gone for $6,000. and a jackpot toy: an original Luke Skywalker action figure went in 2015 at auction for $25,000...here's a bunch of examples for you to check out.
