Lots of people have phobias, but with the onstage personas of the biggest rock stars, you would think these guys (and ladies) are immune to the fears of the commonfolk....nope....Ozzy, the head-biter of bats and doves, is freaked out by rats...quote: "They've got so many diseases we don't have a cure for."...and Alice Cooper, who's used guillotines and snakes his entire career, is deathly afraid of needles. In a 2015 interview, he said "I haven't had a shot in 30-40 years"....Ringo's a germophobe, who won't shake hands with fans, just tap elbows...Dave Grohl is claustrophobic, Freddie Mercury had a fear of spiders, G&R guitarist Slash has a not-so-weird fear of hand injuries, and many, many rock stars have a fear of flying....here's a bunch of rockers and their many phobias.
