The Doobie Brothers had scheduled a giant 50th anniversary tour that would feature both of their lead singers over the years, Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald, and would also include original band members Pat Simmons and Pat McFee....that was right before the world shut down because of the Coronavirus pandemic....last August, the tour was back up and running, but had to postpone 4 shows, including the Pittsburgh show at Star Lake, because Michael McDonald contracted COVID....so now, once again, the band is out there celebrating the 50th anniversary with the first tour date of 2022 this past Friday night in Bristow, Virginia, and we finally get to see the show at the Pavilion at Star Lake Saturday, July 9th.....for info on the show, including set list and video of a couple of the songs from Friday night, here ya go.
