You don't traditionally think of rock stars as the perfect choice to speak to graduates of some of the most prestigious colleges and universities as commencement day speakers, but some of these guys and ladies come up with some clever, funny, and inspiring speeches...Little Steven Van Zandt told the 2017 graduating class at Rutgers they should listen to his advice because "I have screwed up in every way possible. So when I suggest something, I can speak with real authority, because I most likely did the opposite, with a not very good result." One of the most famous, revered musicians in the world, Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, had a speech prepared for the graduates at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, but after being blown away with the graduates' performance in a concert the night before his speech, he said at the podium: "after last night's concert, this speech is rendered useless. So here I am. I'm sort of a busking musician trying to busk my speech."
