Even though the "Woodstock 50" concerts have been cancelled because of extensive production problems and other snafus, there is a huge music series planned for the 50th anniversary of the festival at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, which is built on the site of the original Woodstock in Bethel, New York, about 43 miles southwest of the town of Woodstock. Among the bands playing between now and Sunday: Santana, John Fogerty, and Ringo Starr, but town officials say you have to have a ticket to be issued a travel pass to be able to drive to the site. If you just show up, they'll stop you and let you know you can hop a shuttle which will take you to the site, and you can stay for up to 30 minutes, then you have to leave....for all the info about Woodstock weekend at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, jump on their website here https://www.bethelwoodscenter.org/anniversary-weekend-information
