Most Bon Jovi fans know by now that the Jersey rocker has been sidelined from touring because of vocal chord injury and the surgery on the vocal chords which may have stopped his singing and touring for good. He doesn't see it that way. The most recent Bon Jovi album, "Forever," was released last June, in the midst of his surgery recovery, debuted high on the charts, then quickly fell. Jon attributes that to not being able to tour to support the album: "We love every song on it, and it was a joy to make this album, but I just wasn't ready to go book shows post-surgery recovery." He's also got an idea to breathe new life into "Forever": "I reached out to a number of friends and I said 'If you guys would sing a verse here or there, it'll give this great album another life.'" Here's more on Jon Bon Jovi pushing forward towards the latest album and getting back to touring, plus comments from Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X on how the band's getting together to rehearse and maybe planning to be back onstage: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/bon-jovi-not-giving-up/
