On her podcast, Ann Wilson of Heart explained that the reason she resumed Heart's "Royal Flush" tour in a wheelchair wearing a sling wasn't about her recent cancer treatment: "It's not about cancer. It's about me being a klutz." She says five days before the tour resumed, she fell in a parking lot, fracturing her elbow in three places--her elbow currently has multiple screws in it as it heals...As for the wheelchair: "I chose to sit because then I can just concentrate on my singing and not keeping my balance." She added that with the use of just one arm, and the full arm sling on the other side, her balance isn't the greatest.
