Pink Floyd Sells Rights to Their Recorded Music and Likeness for $400 Mil

While many of the biggest classic rock bands have been selling of the rights to their music for massive sums of money, Pink Floyd had been noticeably absent--until now. Floyd has reportedly sold the rights to their recorded music and likeness to Sony for $400 million. Word is that Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been wanting to do this for a very long time, but couldn't agree on terms with his bandmate Roger Waters, whom he's been at odds with for years. Gilmour's now thrilled that he can be out of "the mud bath that it has been for quite a while."
