Each fall, 102.5 WDVE teams up with UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for our annual DVE Rocks Children’s Radiothon, beginning September 28th and ending September 30th. #DVERocksChildren's Radiothon raises vital funds that enable UPMC Children’s to provide the highest level of care to each patient when they need it most.
Tune in and join us in support of patients and families at UPMC Children's who live with and fight illnesses like pediatric cancer, juvenile diabetes, asthma, organ transplantation, and cardiac care. Funds also support the Child Life staff and their efforts to make a child’s stay in the hospital less scary and more enjoyable.

- Millie’s Ice Cream partnered with Pittsburgh Steelers’ starting quarterback, Kenny Pickett, to launch “Sundae Funday,” a flavor created in Millies’ flagship Shadyside scoop shop by patients at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. While the kiddos were deeply engrossed in the process of creating their signature flavor of ice cream. Sundae Funday will be scooping in select area Millie’s scoop shops, and will also be available by the pint at Millie’s locations, Giant Eagle Market District locations, and select area Giant Eagles, as well. The flavor launches September 14th as a part of the WDVE Rocks Children’s Radiothon fundraiser, and the proceeds from the sale of Sundae Funday across all outlets will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
- S&T Bank went above and beyond during the month of August by offering the $100 Start Smart promotion to qualified accounts and pledging an additional $100 to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for the first 200 accounts opened in August.
