Cinderella guitarist Jeff LaBar has died at age 58, according to his family. No cause of death has yet been revealed.
Labar's son Sebastian LaBar broke the news Wednesday afternoon via Instagram.
"So I just got the call... Jeff LaBar, my father, my hero, my idol, passed away today. Love you pop," Sebastian wrote.
Sebastian's post included several photos of himself and his dad. He encouraged friends to share their own happy memories.
"If you could, please share pictures of videos of all the fun times we had with my dad. It would be greatly appreciated," he added.
Jeff's father, Bob LaBar, confirmed the news, writing "We have been told that our son Jeff LaBar has passed away in Nashville."
Cinderella addressed Jeff's passing in a statement from surviving band members Tom Keifer, Eric Brittingham and Fred Coury:
“Heavy hearts cannot begin to describe the feeling of losing our brother Jeff. The bond between us over decades of creating music and touring the world is something that we as a band uniquely shared. Those memories with Jeff will be forever alive in our hearts. It’s unimaginable that one of our band brothers has left us. We’re sending his wife Debinique, his son Sebastian, family, and friends our deepest condolences.
Jeff’s memory and music will be with us forever.
We all... band, family and management appreciate the overwhelming outpouring of love.

Jeff LaBar joined Cinderella in 1985 and played on all four of the band's studio albums, the last of which was released in 1994. Cinderella's first two albums, 1986's Night Songs and 1988's Long Cold Winter were both certified triple platinum for sales of over 3 million copies each.
Cinderella's last major tour was in 2012. Jeff released a solo album titled One for the Road in 2014.
