Honestly seems like some pretty cool technology that the Penguins are using at PPG Paints area for their new contactless checkout food stations. The stations utilize AI, 3D scanners, and scales to determine what items you're trying to purchase. All you need to do is set the things on the scanner bed, and it does all the work.
I can't wait till I don't have to fight with the bar code scanner at the grocery store anymore...
