Former Steelers FB Tim Lester has died at the age of 52.

The sad news was announced by Eastern Kentucky University and the NFLPA on Tuesday.

Lester spent eight season in the NFL, four of those with the Steelers from 1995-1998. His nickname was "The Bus Driver" because he was a blocker for Jerome Bettis not only in Pittsburgh, but also in Los Angeles with the Rams.

Lester's final season in the NFL was with the Cowboys in 1999, and in 2018 he was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.

No cause of death has been reported.
