According to ProFootballTalk.com, the league is planning to cut the 2020 preseason schedule in half.
Per the PFT source, Week 1 and Week 4 would be the preseason weeks that are scrapped, and an official announcement from the NFL is expected to happen on Thursday (or possibly sooner).
Here's a look at what that would mean for the Steelers preseason schedule if they get rid of the Week 1 and Week 4 games:
Aug. 6 vs. Dallas, 8:00 p.m. (HOF game - already canceled)
Aug. 13-17 vs. Tampa Bay
Aug. 23 vs. New Orleans
Aug. 27-30 at NY Jets
Sept. 3-4 at Carolina
