Daily Allegheny County COVID-19 - April, 29th

The Pennsylvania Dept. of Health shared updated COVID-19 numbers for the state. As of this morning, there are an additional 1,102 positive cases. That brings the total count in PA to 44,366. There have been 2,195 deaths statewide. 170,518 patients have bested negative. You can see the updated statewide map, HERE.

Breakdown of cases in Western Pennsylvania:

  • Allegheny Co.: 1273 cases, 86 deaths, 15426 negatives
  • Butler Co.: 175 cases, 6 deaths, 2140 negatives
  • Beaver Co.: 292 cases, 65 deaths, 2007 negatives
  • Washington Co.: 113 cases, 2 deaths, 2033 negatives
  • Greene Co.: 26 cases, 407 negatives
  • Fayette Co.: 80 cases, 4 deaths, 1716 negatives
  • Westmoreland Co.: 25 cases, 25 deaths, 4378 negatives
  • Indiana Co.: 63 cases, 4 deaths, 647 negatives
  • Armstrong Co.: 50 cases, 2 deaths, 647 negatives
  • Clarion Co.: 23 cases, 1 deaths, 477 negatives
  • Venango Co.: 7 cases, 245 negatives
  • Forest Co.: 7 cases, 29 negatives
  • Lawrence Co.: 64 cases, 6 deaths, 711 negatives
  • Mercer Co.: 65 cases, 1 deaths, 707 negatives

Allegheny County Health Department released their daily update for COVID-19 cases in the area.

As of this morning, there are now 1,273 cases (confirmed or probable) in the county. 228 of those cases (past or present) have required hospitalization. Out of those 228, eighty-seven have been admitted to the ICU with fifty-two requiring the use of a ventilator. There have been eighty-six deaths. 16,672 test have been administered.

  • 20-29 years: 198
  • 30-39 years: 163
  • 40-49 years: 161

  • Female: 53%
  • Male: 47%
