With growing concerns surrounding The Coronavirus and COVID-19 we've seen a growing number of closings or postponements of public events. Below is a running list of known school and public event closings or postponements in our area that might have an effect on our communities.
List of business closures and other cancellations:
- NCAA Final Four cancelled
- Lebanon Presbyterian Church - Lenten Series Cancelled
- St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church-Trauger - Bingo Cancelled
- All Pittsburgh Cultural Trust performances, exhibitions, films, and events through April 6 have been cancelled or postponed.
- Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh are closed, with all museum activities canceled through Fri., March 27
- The Frick Pittsburgh - Closed through the end of March.
- The National Aviary - Closed through the end of March.
- The Children’s Museum - Closed until further notice.
- All Pittsburgh City Council offices will be closed to the public for the next weeks.
- All park facilities and restrooms operated by the Pittsburgh Park Conservancy will be closed through at least March 30.
- Rivers Casino - Closed for two weeks.
- Bethel Park Community Center - March 15-29
- Pro Football Hall of Fame museum - Closed through March 29th
- Fallingwater - Closed through March 29th
- PA Wine and Spirits in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties - Starting Tuesday closed until further notice.
- Jergels Rhythm Grille - Closed through March 26 - All shows are being rescheduled or canceled.
- Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh - All weekday and Sunday Masses cancelled until further notice.
- Uniontown Area YMCA will be closed starting Monday through March 30.
- Bethel Park Public Library is closed through March 29.
- Seven Springs closed through March 21
- All senior community centers and senior satellite centers in Fayette, Greene and Washington counties are suspending operations through March 27
- Indiana University of Pennsylvania suspends face-to-face classes for the remainder of the semester.
- Forest Hills borough offices - Close until further notice.
